We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team, based at our open plan office in Stockton-on-Tees, on a part-time permanent basis. The role will be varied and will involve a wide range of accounting and administration tasks, with the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the finance function. The key duties will include:
- Monitoring and managing Debtors Accounts, providing monthly statements and maintaining accurate records of all correspondences.
- Liaising with Clients, providing breakdowns of invoices and resolving queries
- Producing quarterly Debt Reports for Management review
- Carrying out regular meetings with Fee Earners to discuss Debtor balances
- Posting Office credits for invoice receipts
- Assisting the Finance team and providing ad hoc support when needed
This role is open to candidates seeking part time working options (2/3 days per week). We also operate a fantastic Flexible Working Scheme, to help our employees to balance the demands of their work and home life.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Have extensive experience as a Credit Controller
- Have experience in reading complex ledgers and have a great eye for detail
- Proficient communicative & Organisational skills
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Drive for making efficiencies and improving overall debtor balance
- Have strong analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
