We will not tolerate any kind of harassment, bullying, violence or abuse towards our people from anyone engaging with us.
In the unfortunate event that harassment, bullying, violence or abuse towards our people arises, we will, save in extreme circumstances, remind the party engaging with us that their behaviour is unacceptable and allow them the opportunity to change their behaviour. However, in extreme circumstances, no warning will be given and we may terminate our retainer.
Our people have the right to refuse to deal with any party demonstrating harassing, bullying, violent or abusive behaviour, and also have the right to put violent, rude or abusive callers on hold, end calls or refuse to respond to written correspondence displaying such behaviour.
Our people are urged to report any incident which involves harassment, bullying, violence or abuse towards them to their line manager and a record will be kept. In serious situations, we will refer the matter to the police e.g. where a criminal offence has been threatened or committed.
