Every financial year, our team, vote for the charity which they want to benefit from company fundraising events and donations, as part of our commitment to supporting the local community. Our last financial year to April ’26, our chosen charity was Dog’s Trust.
Now our year of fundraising for Dog’s Trust has now come to an end, we’re delighted to share that we have handed over a cheque for £1,684.21. The Darlington Dog’s Trusts’ support relations officer, Gordon Norrie, came to our Stockton office to meet with Partner, Toby Joel, to collect the cheque, along with a range of donated dog beds, treats, and other essentials donated by our team and contacts.
Beyond fundraising, our team also got hands-on by volunteering at the charity’s Darlington centre in Sadberge, helping with enrichment activities and supporting the staff with day‑to‑day duties. Spending time at the centre gave us an even deeper appreciation for the incredible work the Dogs Trust team does for dogs in need.
Working with Gordon and everyone at Dogs Trust has been a real pleasure, and we’re proud to have supported them as our Charity of the Year for the last financial year.
As always, our next Charity of the Year has been chosen by the team, and we’ll be announcing the new charity partner very soon.
